Location
This photo was taken on my birthday in Chinatown, Los Angeles while on a whiskey walk to a photoshoot I had that night.Time
Photo taken an hour before sundown.Lighting
This photo was taken with natural sunlight from a early evening May sun.Equipment
This day I was carrying my Canon 80D and Minolta SR-T 101 but there were many obstacles obstructing the subject I wanted to capture. I ended up having to use Galaxy Note 10 camera to get the picture I wanted.Inspiration
Usually on my birthdays I visit a new US city or a new location in a city I'm not familiar with. I tend to take one too many shots of Jameson and stumble around analyzing my surroundings, searching for some sort of charm or allure of decay. Sometimes I find what I'm looking for, sometimes I find straight up beauty. On this day I found a mixture of decay and elegance.Editing
I don't tend to edit my photos outside of CC Camera raw. I feel too much editing takes away from the true value of an image. I do try to portray the edited image as my drunken eyes view each subject I encounter. In my camera bag
I normally carry my iPhone. Galaxy Note, Canon 80D, and my Minolta SR-T 101. Color and black & white film. A couple LED lights and a tripod I try not to use too many gimmicky technology gadgets I like to keep my photos clean and unique and simple.Feedback
