When the waters of the Dee Dam start to empty in central Tasmania, gravel formations begin to reveal themselves.

No wind, no fog, no crowds. Almost as it may have been when indigenous peoples cared for country.

Many beautiful cruising spots near Hobart in Tasmania. If you are lucky you can also be treated to a colourful sunset to top off the day.

A walk behind Lagoon Beach in southern Tasmania reveals silver white sand dunes that squeak underfoot, caused by the fine, soft sand silica content. I

Dead trees can be seen in the waters of Dee Lagoon which was dammed to produce hydro electric power in central Tasmania.

Looking up to the Tasman Bridge as we pass underneath on our way down the River Derwent for a day of fishing and chilling.
