Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was shot in the Marina Beach located in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Time

Perfectly shot at sunrise! A routine morning walk along the beach and I happened to notice a fishing boat, so went ahead and shot it. Spotting boats near coasts is a rare sighting in this part of the beach.

Lighting

Nature helped me set up the lighting :) I just waited for the clouds to come into position and shot it.

Equipment

I do not carry my gear for my morning walks as it was not a planned shoot. I shot this from my Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Inspiration

I was just impressed with the scenic view, I am a fan of sunrises too :)

Editing

Just some minor lighting tweaks in Lightroom and I was done, as nature already set up the lighting for me :)

In my camera bag

I dont usually carry my gear on my morning walks unless it is a planned shoot. Else the usual gear I carry is my brother's camera Nikon D5100 and the Tripod. My Galaxy Note 9 is also a beast on its own :)

Feedback

Just wait for the right moment and shoot. Nature will do its best to set up everything for you. Patience is key.
