I was just been at this beautiful location 2 weeks ago. The lake was still frozen and covered with snow. I could only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Now you have shown me--thank you for sharing this beautiful image.

Location
After doing a lot of research on the best places to take pictures of Mount Rainier, I came across a lake called Reflection Lake located on the South side of the mountain.Time
This picture was taken a couple of hours before sunset. I really liked the light on the mountains and the lake because it was such a clear day.Lighting
This was my third time at Mount Rainier. The first two times, it was so cloudy that I didn't get a view of the mountain. This time, I was in Seattle and happen to see that the sky was clear, so I didn't want to waste time and decided to drive to the mountain to get pictures while I had the chance. I'm glad that I decided to visit there on such a beautiful day.Equipment
I used my Canon 5D Mark IV camera and an EF 16-35mm III lens.Inspiration
I love mountains (my wife says that I'm obsesses by them). I live in New York City and hardly get to see them, so I try to visit the Northwest whenever I have a chance. There is something about the mountains that inspires me. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my family lived in Switzerland when I was young.Editing
I did some light Lightroom edit. Most of it was to brighten the pic and to bring out the shadows in the trees a bit.In my camera bag
I always travel with my Canon 5D Mark IV. I also have a few different lenses with me depending on my trip. My all-around lens is my 24-105mm f/4L. If I'm going to take nature photos, I also carry a telephoto lens such my 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L which gets great pics of birds and animals. I also carry a few different filters. My go-to is the Lee Big Stopper and I also use an ND grad filter. This helps during long exposure pictures during the day.Feedback
Have a lot of patience! Try to take as many pictures as you can since you'll only get better from experience. Watch videos on Youtube and learn as much as possible.
