Location
This photo was taken near a little town in Alberta called Robb. We frequently travel this road looking for Wildlife.Time
This was early evening, we were on our way home when we encountered this Grizzly Bear. The mother Grizzly and her two Cubs were in the ditch eating weeds.Lighting
It was actually a little dark as the sun had gone behind a hill so the Bears were in the shade.Equipment
I used my Sigma 150 - 500 mm lens. Though I did not have to zoom in as the Bear was very close. I used a gel pad on my Jeep window to keep the camera still.Inspiration
Love wildlife and we had seen this family of Grizzlies a week before in the same area. It was great to see them again.Editing
I used Lightroom to get the lighting a little brighter. In my camera bag
Normally I carry my Canon 7D mark ii camera with my Sigma 150-500 mm lens. I also have my Canon t3i with my Sigma 16-300 mm lens. Then I have a tripod and a gimbal mount with extra batteries and cleaning cloths.Feedback
Be wary of how the Animal reacts to you. Seconds after taking this picture we had to drive off because the bears was very interested in us and our Jeep. He was coming over to see us, so we quickly drove off.
