It was a time to get out of the house and enjoy nature. I live in the Yukon so a drive is usually most of the day. I was just getting ready to pack up and head home when I got this last shot of the day, I was hoping to catch a bear or even some swans but the river was empty yet it felt like it was waiting for the last of the animals to take their final drink of water and a swim before the darkness swept in.

Stillness of a winter morning

This was a very beautiful spring evening, there was not a soul around. I felt like I was the only person in the world at this moment.

I wanted this Eagle to come closer and look at the camera...but I think it was lunch time and so I watched as the Eagle swooped around and panned shot

Chasing down another sunset when I kept seeing these clouds, I stopped and tried to get a higher shot so the clouds were more prominent.

One of my favorite places along the Alaska Highway is the White River, I like this interpetation as it shows the highway running then crossing the riv

And the day melts away with all the stresses it brought to me; they are now forgotten

A path I like to take, normally full of eagles, and other birds. Here in the trees closer than usual this beautiful Eagle was taking in the last light

Yukon Scenery

One of the few things you can always seem to capture is a bird. This chickadee had those bright colors to capture my attention.

A peaceful evening on the Lake.

Took a lot for me to watch these huge snakes slowly moving along to finally come to rest. I wonder what lunch consisted of?

I call him Larry as he was such a cool lizard he needed a name. He posed for me nicely and was quite curious.

In the deep country side of the Yukon. Only insects and wildlife are found here.Untouched by humans.

A calm afternoon captures only the sound of gulls playing and soaring above the lake

The start of golden hour and the light and reflections from the boats caught my eye.
