Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Johannesburg suburbs in South Africa

Time

Thi time was about 11 am

Lighting

All natural lighting with no modifiers at all

Equipment

Nikon D5200 with tamron 70-200

Inspiration

I found this girl on facebook with a very mediocre portfolio and challenged myself to do better. 3 years later she admits that she cannot find another photographer capable of delivering photos like these.

Editing

Very simple photoshopping and some hair tweaking. I might have overdone it a bit on the hair reflecting back now

In my camera bag

D5200 a 70-200 a 50mm 2.8 and a sigma 10mm wide angle

Feedback

I always think of the model first before myself but a lot of photographers don't care about the model or what can be extracted from them. I don't shoot a lot, I am very picky about my subjects but the most important thing is to make your model look the best she has ever looked and make her feel confident and comfortable
