Location
I took this photo at RAF Coningsby, during one of my many visits to do a bit of spotting. We had heard the Lancaster was due to go up at some point so we stayed longer than originally planned.Time
I took the photo around 2.20pm on the 13th August 2020, the Lancaster was taxiing towards the runway ready to take to the skies for a practice run before a fly past planned for the following day.Lighting
All lighting is natural, I didn't need to do anything to make the photo look any better than it already did with all the natural light.Equipment
Surprisingly I took this photo on a Kodak PixPro on full zoom.Inspiration
I love taking pictures of planes and I'm also very into my war planes, so when there's an opportunity to take pictures of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight planes that are based at RAF Coningsby I'm always there ready with my camera.Editing
This photo didn't need any post-processing as it was perfect the way it was.In my camera bag
I always have my camera in my bag, I get inspired really easy so I like to keep it handy.Feedback
I just pulled out my camera and pointed it at the Lancaster and waited for it to get to the perfect spot for the picture, I wasn't expecting it to come out so well as I had only started out with using a camera, my advice would be to focus on the plane, try follow it as best as you can with your camera and when you think the shot is perfect take the photo.
