Behind The Lens

Location

I took a photo on the Vistula beach in Warsaw.

Time

It was sunny noon, the time when it is best to look for shade.

Lighting

The most important in this photo was the shadow of the bridge, which allowed to hide from the sun and white reflector.

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Nikon D700 and 85 1.8 lens.

Inspiration

Mostly moment and model :)

Editing

I used Photoshop and typical correction - nothing special, some liquify and color correction with "hue saturation".

In my camera bag

When I go for portraits I always have 85 1.8, 50 1.4 in my backpack sometimes 70-200 f 2.8 and 24-105 f4 and a white reflector. I am currently using a mirrorless Canon R.

Feedback

At this session I took about 200 photos - the light was difficult - the sun was shining. When it was close to the end of the session with the model arrived at the bridge, it turned out that there is great light and water that can be used as a background. Although there was a lot of crowd there, I managed to do some great shots. Even if everything goes wrong, you can't get tired, you just have to look for this one great shot.
