It was taken on my kitchen table with a Canon 7d mk2 and an 18-200 lens I focussed on a pencil on the middle of the dish and held a plastic bag trying to get it to drip on my focussed point while trying to shoot using a remote shutter releaseTime
it was taken during the dayLighting
Lighting was from the kitchen window and a flash on top of my camera I had to make a bouncer out of an easter egg box so it would light from the opposite side from the windowEquipment
Canon 7d mk2 18-20 lens sat sideways on a tripod ,a bowl of water plastic bag and some food colouring ,a 3rd party flash and a home made bender (I have a photo)and a large piece of cardboard box for the backgroundInspiration
I saw an advert on Facebook for someone selling a tutorial on how to take macro photos ,while I was self isolating because of covid 19 and I thought I'd have a go so I youtubed a video but I didn't have the equipment he had (electronic droplet release and camera trigger)Editing
All I did was play around with the edit settings on my Samsung s10+ and I thought the colours looked nice (I did other colours by adjusting the white balance kelvin rating)In my camera bag
Normally my 7d mk2 with a 100-400 mk1 lens always on camera.18-200 lens ,flash lots of useless rubbish and some lee filters and my tripod is usually in the boot of the carFeedback
don't dispare take plenty of photos and use patience ,you don't have to use lots of fancy equipment ,my set up for this was less than basic
