Behind The Lens

Location

This shot us taken on an early and stormy morning at one of my favourite beaches in Cairns. I am a self-taught photographer, trying to challenge myself every day with a new goal.

Time

This photo was taken on a stormy morning on the tropical Holloway’s Beach in Cairns. I remember walking my dog as usual, admiring the beautiful colours in the early sky.

Lighting

I wanted to draw the viewer in to whiteness what i had seen that morning on the bigger scale, making the most out of the the combination of beautiful colours and picture composition.

Equipment

This was one of the rate opportunity and as much as I wished to have brought my camera, all I had available that morning was my iPhone X.

Inspiration

The raw, powerful and beautiful nature of Australia.

Editing

I enhanced saturation, temperature, contrast and hue.

In my camera bag

I usually shoot with my Nikon P1000. The incredible zoom allows me to witness the unexpected.
