Location
I took that daisy flower variety at Camp John Hay grounds, Baguio City, Philippines on October 2019. It was a family trip, spending the day with the cool breeze of the pine trees over a cup of hot coffee.Time
It was around two o'clock in the afternoon when I captured. It was a nice hazy walk down the lane. The natural light around the garden gave an impressive appeal on me, an able to take a shot.Lighting
Lighting is indeed our most valuable consideration, every time we take photos. As much as possible maximize the use of natural light. It not only gives you a subtle look but a priceless reflection of the object or moment.Equipment
I only used a smart phone. On short trips, my smart phones are ideal.Inspiration
Flowers and blooms my favorite subject. The striking appearance that made me capture that daisy, were the pollens. It was a rare sight to me seeing the pollen dusts on the petals. Thus, i entitled it powdery pollens.Editing
A little post processing, such cropping and brightness adjustment using snapseed. In my camera bag
When a long vacation or family trip I bring a dslr (gx16 or 650d). For short trips or day trip, my smart phone suffices.Feedback
Choose a composition carefully, before capturing. As much as possible do not be in hurry to take a photo, if you think is valuable subject and will create a lasting expression.
