Location
I took this photo during my first day in Singapore. I had just landed at Changi Airport around 7am and i could not check into the hostel until 2PM, so i took that to the next level, I dropped off my bag at the hostel and walked all around the roads of Singapore until late night. No maps and no particular spots. I walked all around and by evening i ended up at Marina Bay Sands. The location in this frame is one i have always wanted to visit for years so after taking a few photos and sitting down for a while to enjoy the view. I decided to get into the frame myself and capture this memory.Time
This photo was taken during sunset around 7pm. I was just sitting down enjoying the view and still could not believe that I am in Lion City. I decided to capture a photo of myself as i do not take much. I set up this mini tripod I carried around, set the cameras timer and jumped into the frame. 15/02/19Lighting
Everything just fell into place with this one, The sun was setting which gave me the really cool sky colors and having the view plus the water it just felt like i had ended up at the right place and at the right time.Equipment
I used my Fujifilm X-T20 along with a 7Artisans 7.5mm Fisheye Lens and a mini tripod.Inspiration
Singapore did, Being in Singapore after almost 4 years of wanting to visit was awesome, I spent every single day walking around smiling everywhere i go and somewhat still in disbelief . Singapore you have been amazing and are a huge inspiration to me. Thank you Lion City.Editing
My processing with this photo was quite simple, Most of what i did was to enhance the colors that i had already captured. In my camera bag
I cant not go out without a REAL ultra wide angle, so i have a 7.5mm fisheye which i also used to capture this photo, Ill also have a focal length suitable for some portraits as well currently i have a 7artisans 25mm but ill definitely be needing something around the 50 to 85 range soon and last but not least my Fujifilm X-T20Feedback
Involve your other skills and or the things you love in photography. Just go out there and explore and shoot the things you love, sometimes its all about being in the right place at the right time.
