Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken outdoors in a small forest situated in the City of Mumbai, India.

Time

It was shoot between 3 PM to 5:30 PM with sunlight passing between the trees

Lighting

Since this was the natural lights i was searching for the area wherein we get the exact shadows over the model.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon 700D with 18:55 KIT Lens

Inspiration

So this was all about experimenting around the location and finding the right spots. when we were shooting we saw this really amazing shadows passing between a big leaf of a tree. When we came to have a closer look .It was the leaf of the a Coconut trees which was fallen down. It was there in proper direction so we position it and improvise the shadows.

Editing

Yes a little bit of Skin correction. rest all was camera setting.

In my camera bag

So i do normally carry a corp sensor camera body Canon 700d with a set of Kit lenses 18:55 and 55:250 MM. Sometimes i do carry 24:70 f2.8 lens. Along with this i have keep a camera mount flash light and a 5 in 1 reflector.

Feedback

This image could have been lot better if we had more time. If someone would want to create something similar i would recommed them to use the lead of coconut tree in harsh environment like a beach or a terrace and play around the clock to get something stunning results.
