This was taken in my backyard. I love looking for the small stuff, the things others might overlook. This was after a very rainy spring and I just had to get out and enjoy the sun.Time
This was taken mid afternoon. I had a ton of other stuff to do, but the sun was shining and everything looked fresh after the rain.Lighting
I prefer natural light. I am an amateur photographer and love using what God has given us.Equipment
I shot this with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, using their 60mm 2.8 macro lens.Inspiration
Nature...all the hidden things we overlook. Macro-photography forces me to slow down and really look. I love the peaceful feeling I get when I'm out in nature. It's amazing what you will find when one slows down.Editing
There is no post processing. In my camera bag

My advice is just to get out there and notice what is around you. There is beauty in the smallest and simplest things.
