Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Iam a self thought photographer by reading articles of photographers and blogs , i still consdier myself to be ametuer in photography.

Time

This was taken on 19 July 2015 around 20.10 hrs and during my visit to the mosque along with my mom and sister who was visiting UAE for holidays and holds a special moment in my heart. We spend more than 3 hrs enjoying this marvellous architecture with lots of pictures

Lighting

This spot looks so different during daylight and in the night, i prefer the night, as the subjects comes alive and can be more focussed, i took the privlege to reduce highlight and shadow to get more depth in the subject.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon EOS 500D, with 18-50mm lens , No flash , Aperture f/3.5?ISO 800?Shutter 1/125?Focal Length 24/1?

Inspiration

I always wanted to take pic of this lobby, waited long time to get this almost empty shot of this beautiful lobby for it architecture, design and the allignment of the pillars that gives a vanishing point effect

Editing

Yes i took the privilege, to reduce a bit of highlight and shadow to get more details and depth in the objects.

In my camera bag

While travelling i always carry my first DSLR camera Canon EOS 500D , along with my mobiles (most of my photos are captured) Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Samsung Note 10 and GoPro Hero 7 Black

Feedback

Try different timings of the day, and different angles till your satisfied with the results, i usually have more than 10 shots of same shots to select the best later on..so keep clicking
