Location
This image was taken at the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC.Time
After a family shoot with my blogger client, I couldn't help but stay longer to capture NYC's night beauty.Lighting
Despite the darkness and no tripod, I set my exposure to 3 secs and set it on a rock.Equipment
Nikon D800 on a rockInspiration
NYC is surrounded by inspiration, the architecture, the history, diversity, everywhere you look, even the rats in Central Park.Editing
Yes, despite already loving the RAW image and the reflection from my phone, I did enhance the reflection in post to make it more sharp. In my camera bag
Nikon D800, 50 . 1.4 24-17 70-200 105 and 85 1.8 I need a Profot A1 because my strobes are just too big to haul around.Feedback
Some say you can't take an image in the dark, this image proves wrong. It was 1 hour or so after sunset, just expose as best you can and enhance it in post. I brightened the exposure a tad, then added a little clarity and VOILA!
