Afternoon in Western Ghats becomes more humid and there is a dry heat experienced all over the forest. The forest department has created small pools in front of the jungle lodges so that the resident birds can get hydrated. At one point of time the pool will be filled with birds leaving photographers a bit astonished to choose which bird to be framed. It's a challenge to be accepted, nothing is easy in bird photography. There are nearby branches where these flycatchers will perch and get themselves dried, it's a challenging light situation and we need to wait for the right time to press the shutter. This bird gave a couple of seconds to make this shot.
