Flood tide, a Kent coast seascape.
WHEN the sea sobs by lonely shores, Bleak shores, with shattered boulders strown,
When the dark wind my soul implores
And claims me for its own.–

The dykes of time are down; my heart

Flood Tide poem by Elizabeth Roberts MacDonald 1864-1922
