Behind The Lens

Location

Taken in Awendaw,S.C.

Time

Midday December

Lighting

There was little light when I was shooting so I took some chances and hoped I could bring out the subject in Lightroom.

Equipment

I was using a Nikon D5100,A Nikon 55-300pm lense with a tripod and remote.

Inspiration

I photograph owls alot and the background colors and owl position made for the perfect shot.

Editing

I use Lightroom on all photographs and have developed my own presets.

In my camera bag

A 55-300 lense and a wide angle lense.I try to travel light.

Feedback

I'd do my homework as to where to find owls as they are not plentiful everywhere. Search out the local bird sanctuaries. That's a good place to start.
