Behind The Lens

Location

Taken at home, using the ambient light from the skylight above.

Time

It was taken during the middle of the day when the light flooded from above

Lighting

I love ambient light and using it to my best advantage

Equipment

Canon 750D with a 24-70mm Sigma lens. No tripos or flash just handheld

Inspiration

I was in a Photography School module learning about light and lenses and I had never attempted a food image so had on hand the home made christmas pies and some fruit and just shot away

Editing

Not much at all, I did bring down the histogram on the white exposure to ensure there was a good depth of tones
