This was a bit of a surprise to find when reviewing my photos from a short stop on the way to my day job. My intention this particular morning after heading out of the house, looking up in the sky, and seeing a large, clear, beautiful moon was to capture a fantastic shot of the moon. I pulled off the road, while half way to work, at a place where I had been drawn to by a brilliant sunrise, so I thought it would make a nice bonus shot. I quickly set up the tripod and threw on a circular polarizing filter for the sun shot. I only took four shots because I was more interested in getting on with the moon capture, but this cropped sun flare - reflection picture attracted a lot of attention on Facebook later that day. Just a note on the moonshot... I rushed through it with all the wrong settings in an attempt to get the shot and get to the job on time, which have me what appeared to be a polar bear in a snow storm. Haha... Life is full of surprises!
