Location
Myself and a group of Friends went to Hayling island for my best friends birthday as they have a caravan there. This photo was taken whilst walking along Hayling Island beach in June 2015Time
There was a whole bunch of us walking along the beach with our children and dogs. We were only out for a couple of hours and this was taken at about midday as we were walking back.Lighting
It was a nice day it was a bit overcast with some nice bright spells.Equipment
This was taken using a Canon 750D fitted with a 18-55 standard efs lens with a ND variable filter. Shutter speed was 125, lighting was set at auto. I was playing about with the f stops on that day, so I don't know what it was set at.Inspiration
I like to take photos of my friends and family. I try to get them looking as natural as possible in the photos. when I saw the results I was very pleased the way it turned out.Editing
I had only recently purchased photoshop for the iPad, and I used one of the black and white presets. I like to keep post-processing to a minimum. In my camera bag
I carry with me a 75-300 MM. Lens 18-55mm kit lens, 50mm prime lens, ND filter, macro filter, polarised filter, tripod, off camera flash, and my iPad so I can edit and post my photos on the go. Basically I take everything apart from the kitchen sink.Feedback
Try to keep the people you are taking photos of, to look as natural as possible. If they are relaxed and having a good time it will make for a better photo. If you are going to use post-processing, less is more. If you are happy with the results then that is all that matters.
