Great pyrenees are wonderful livestock guardians. They are always watching and ever aware. I love watching them as they stand guard over our small farm. This pic was taken January 2016 during the first big snow here in Middle Tennessee.

Location
I took this photo on our small farm in Columbia, TN. Our pair of Great Pyrenees were faithfully watching over our chickens after it had snowed all day.Time
It was almost dusk and the last rays of sunlight are shining across Samson's thick white fur.Lighting
I loved the intense stare of both dogs with Delilah staring at the chickens in the distance and Samson momentarily looking at me. The sunlight across his fur, the shade across the snow and the silence made for a perfect moment to capture.Equipment
I snapped this photo with a Samsung Galaxy 7. No special equip. Just a quick momentInspiration
These dogs are so incredibly loyal and such great livestock guardians. They sleep most of the day and are vigilant from dusk to dawn. They are such majestic animals.Editing
No post processing. Just raw photoIn my camera bag
I mainly use my cell phone. I currently have a Samsung 8 plus. I'm a novice and always have my cell phone with me and love to capture pics in the moment.Feedback
I think cell phone cameras are getting better and better. You can now download apps to help post process your photos and share them with the world. Never underestimate the power of a decent cell phone camera!
