Location
The photo was taken over the peatland moods behind my home address in Spith Yorkshire UK.Time
It was late in the evening around 6pm me and my son decided to take a late night stroll with my camera as it was a nice evening and the sun was still out.Lighting
It was late in the evening, but English summer time the sunset later in the day so it gave a nice shadow and light detail.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5500 and a sigma lens 24-70mm f2.8 no flash was needed and I used a tripod and remote shutter release cable to prevent shakes.Inspiration
My son is quite boystrous and likes to do things he isn't suppose to he is very full of energy, so I asked him to go run through the field, and I just snapped away and caught this angle of my son picking flowers during his moment of less movement.Editing
Yes I took various snaps using different apertures and layered them and used masks to delete and shade various areas of each photo. I also added extra Light sections using layer modes to add depth and contrast to the image. In my camera bag
I always carry my Camera D5500 I have my favourite current lense sigma 24-70 mm f2.8 also my nifty fifty f1.8, I also have 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 Nikon lense my SB700 speedlight and my Kit lense Nikon 18-140mm f3.5-5.6Feedback
I would say to anyone it's best to do these shoot late in the evening or early in the morning so the sun isn't at its highest. Have the subject in front of the sun so you do not get squinty eyes from them Looking at the sun, use a polarising filter to help prevent glare.
