Love the simplicity of this image. Beautiful contrast and well framed. Well deserved!

Location
I took this photo on a walk in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.Time
It was an overcast day, sometimes around noon.Lighting
The day was cloudy, and I was shooting through the window. House was dark inside, so I had to use long exposure.Equipment
That was shot on Canon 7D, with Canon 18-55 mm lensInspiration
I love abandoned houses. Colors of this room just make me shiver.Editing
I shoot in raw, so some post-processing needs to be done on all of mine images. I increased saturation just a bit to make colors pop, and contrast as well/In my camera bag
I usually have Canon 7D and 18-55mm Canon lens. Sometimes I take my Tamron 70-300 mm f2.8.Feedback
In shooting abandoned, look for shades of the past (you still an see where the mirror used to be, and the chandelier).
