Location
The photo was taken outside my house in Staten Island and on top of my car (glass sunroof).Time
It was around 4:00 - 5:00 pmLighting
I used only one flash from inside, the bottom of the sunroof.Equipment
Camera: Canon 5D Mark3 Lens: Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro Flash: Canon 600 EX with ST-E3-RT transmitter Shot HandheldInspiration
I noticed the water drops on my sunroof after the rain, mixed with dust and the sunlight. It created a very sparkly textured surface, looked like diamonds!Editing
Not much processing was done actually... just the basic settings like shadows, highlights, etc. Also i removed the reflection of the sun from the surface of the stone...In my camera bag
I always carry the 100mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 II, 50mm 1.4, 16-35mm 2.8 and some extension tubes. Also i have some Cokin filters, 3 speedlights and the transmitter.Feedback
Just look outside and pay attention on small details too... :)
