Behind The Lens

Location

Lana'i, HI

Time

This was my first trip to Lana'i and it is one of the best "country" type settings of all the islands. This was taken early morning with my cup of coffee in the nice cold air. The plantation homes remind me of my grandparents home back on the island of Oahu, HI.

Lighting

Daylight in any spot in Hawaii is nothing short of amazing and beautiful.

Equipment

Canon 60d with my Tamron 18-270

Inspiration

It was just a random view that looked amazing from the lawn chair I was sitting on.

Editing

Just tweaked the contrast and added a bit of saturation.

In my camera bag

I always have my Tamron 18-270 along with my nifty 50.

Feedback

Just go with your gut. Take a photo like you take a breath.
