Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was taken in Applecross Western Australia, I had to rush down as I knew they where going to remove this little pier, I am so glad i did.

Time

this was taken at around 530 in the afternoon as I was waiting for magic hour to begin.

Lighting

I really wanted the viewer to feel, like they where sitting on the pier watching the beauty unfold.

Equipment

I love the Camera I use its a Canon 5DmkII with a 24mm 1.4 lens,

Inspiration

with everything I want to achieve when sunsets begin, I try and look at what i want to capture, running around like a chicken with its head cut off, I really like to see how the light will unfold on the subjects around me and when i saw this pier I had to capture it. i wanted it to be peaceful and tranquil , inviting. I think I captured it well.

Editing

no all I did is give it a little more contrast.

In my camera bag

Canon 5dmkII, 24mm 1.4, 100mm, batteries and filters.

Feedback

spend the time with your camera, try every setting and it will pay off.
