Location
This photo was taken during a train trip through the Rocky Mountains in Canada. It was a special trip for me because I now live in New Zealand. Capturing the beauty of my homeland was a wonderful opportunity.Time
Our train passed through in the late afternoon.Lighting
As luck would have it, it was about a half hour before sunset. I couldn't have done better if I were driving the train myself.Equipment
I used my Canon D100 with a 55 to 250mm lens.Inspiration
This cabin looked so isolated tucked into the safety of the mountain forest. I felt like it would be a place I would like to visit again and again.Editing
Photoshop is vital part of my post processing regime. I work in RAW so I have to convert my images and give them a minor tweet. In my camera bag
The Canon 5D Mark 111 is my camera of choice along with a 100 to 400mm lens.Feedback
Always be aware of the beauty around you and have your camera ready.
