This photo was taken early in the.morning at my back yard pond. This fellow was a regular visitor to the.pond even though he is a land turtle he apparently missed the memo. Frequently I would go out in the.morning and find he struggling in the water. I'd get the net out and fish him out of there only to turn my back and have him scurry (at least what passes for.scurrying in a turtle) and there he'd go right back in the.water. This morning he seemed to be waiting for me to turn my back so he could dive in.Time
It was early in the day when I did my first walk in my gardenLighting
Well morning light is always good but I wasn't really thinking about the.lighting to be honestEquipment
Just a handheld Canon T1i on auto with nothing special just a regular lensInspiration
This guy was always hanging out in the.pond but that day he was just at the edge of it and.looking at me.like I was the.problemEditing
I always post process since I usually shoot on auto but.nothing to speak of except croppingIn my camera bag
Everything under the sun but mostly I just use the.camera the way it came 18-55 lens etc.Feedback
Well it goes against all photography logic but I keep my camera on auto 99% of the time. That way I'm ready to shoot and I shoot in raw format so I have more control over processing
