Behind The Lens
Location
One of the most beautiful roads I’ve ever seen is this country lane in Northern Ireland - named locally as The Dark Hedges. These trees are 300 years old and form an arch like tunnel that run the length of the Bregagh road near Armoy in County Antrim. They really do look like something straight out of a fairytale.Time
I usually hunt in the morning, then there will be fogs that add climate.Lighting
The light is good in this location both in the morning and at sunset. It hunts for good light for a long time. It requires perseverance and patience. To view this place in the morning is amazing, you can catch a good light or eerie mist. I visited this location regularly waiting to find the ideal conditions, but it was only on my tenth trip there that I came across this amazing light show which lasted only 5 minutes.Equipment

It is a magical place I visit often, great to be there in the morning. It's unique at any time of year. When I first went there in 2007 I was enchanted, it became my favourite place. It was a special time when the place was not yet known and there were no tourists. It was always just me and nature, it was a wonderful time.Editing
I made minor changes to the levels, convert to black and white in Photoshop, and sharpened the image .In my camera bag

It is worth taking care of such places, visiting them regularly. A lot of patience, one day it will be rewarded with a beautiful spectacle of light and shadow.
