Location
This photo was taken on Mahe island part of Seychelles from Indian Ocean.Time
I was chasing the sunset specially after the sun goes down.Lighting
After the sun is going down for me is the time for the best light.Equipment
I was shooting with Nikon D7100, tokina 11-16 2.8Inspiration
I know is cliche shooting sunsets but each time is different and I love it, in the end is important to do what you like/Editing
I was processing the raw file in lightroom and with brush increase the exposure little bit in the water waves. If I try to lift up the shadows the picture is looking little bit of hdr-ish and I did not want that.In my camera bag
At usually I like to travel light ,I carry always ND filters, CPL, cleaning equipment , torch, remote control, tripod and only one lens.Feedback
My advice for shooting coastal seascapes is to not give up after the sun is going down, because is coming twilight light, which is my favorite. Also is very important the weather, mostly if before sunset was bad weather, in this case guarantee if the sun manage to break little bit through the clouds definitely will be a spectacular view.
