Meet MAZHARUL ISLAM, he is a patient of Waardenburg Syndrome which is a group of genetic conditions that can cause hearing loss and changes in coloring (pigmentation) of the hair, skin, and eyes. Waardenburg syndrome affects an estimated 1 in 40,000 people. In his class his friends make fun of him because he is different but he smiles everyone back because his mother told him that he is ONE IN A MILLION.
