I wonder! What did women use to do before Steve jobs invented the camera phone for them?!

Behind The Lens
Location
Photo was taken on the fishing pier near Popps Ferry Causeway in Biloxi, Mississippi.Time
The photo was made during golden hour 15 minutes before sunset. I decided to backlight the Madisyn and Faith to catch the warm light in their hair and highlight the hands.Lighting
The light nature provided during a wonderful sunset, this produced an ethereal separation of my beautiful granddaughters from the soft blues in the background.Equipment
The image was made using a Sony Alpha 7ii and Zeiss 55mm Sonnar at f2.8.Inspiration
It was a wonderful fall day and my grandkids felt like an outdoor activity was in order so we went for a walk to watch the sunset. We live near the Popps Ferry Causeway and knew the scenery would beautiful. I naturally brought my gear and let Faith and Madisyn be the focus of my attention.Editing
Very little was done other than some cropping and minor exposure adjustments. In my camera bag
I have Sony equipment and love the mirror less 7 series bodies. I have a7ii and a7riii in the backpack with three lenses usually the Sigma 24-70 Art is ever present, coupled with Sony 90mm G macro along with the Zeiss 55 Sonnar. I do also use 200-600mm Sony G lens for wildlife and sports. When I’m traveling light I will simplify my kit with just one body and 35mm Zeiss 2.8 Sonnar for a more discreet approach.Feedback
Be ready and open to opportunity. I keep a camera within reach everywhere I go. Try to make photos every day and always keep learning. Above all enjoy the craft and look to other photographers for inspiration.
