Location

Denver Botanic Gardens

Time

Lighting

This beautiful light display immediately captured my attention.

Equipment

Nikon D3500 Wide angle lens

Inspiration

The lighting was beautiful, it held my attention for several minutes. I've experimented in nature photography with upward angle shots from the bottom of the tree looking upward and thought the contrast of the lighting would work well with this effect.

Editing

There is no post processing on this photo.

In my camera bag

I like to stay streamlined. Normally I have my camera with it's standard lens and just one other lens based on the photos I'm trying to take.

Feedback

The viewfinder is not necessary to achieve this result. Don't be afraid to fire from the hip if needed, just be prepared to take a few shots to get your framing right and be patient it takes time to get it right.
