Location
I took this photo on a bushwalk with my dad and Staffy through Beeliar regional park, just ten minutes from home.Time
It was an afternoon bushwalk on the weekend.Lighting
As the photo was taken in the afternoon the lighting was not great but the shards of light coming through the trees captured my eye. Then I focused the camera off the trees in the background and the lighting looks perfect.Equipment
I took this photo with a NikonJ1 with a 110mm lens. No other equipment was needed.Inspiration
My Dad and I decided to go for a bushwalk to shoot some pictures of birds in flight. These flowers really stood out to me and the scenery was perfect for a nice photo.Editing
I used no post-processing!In my camera bag
I include my new Nikon D3500, with a Nikon 70-300mm lens and a Nikon 10-55mm lens in my bag. I also have a spare memory card on hand just in case I run out of room. Note: 'Natural Traffic Lights' was taken on my Dad's Nikon J1 camera.Feedback
I really am a beginner photographer so I don't know so much so that I can give advice. But what I try to look for in every scene is the colours, colours are so important I think, and the contrast of colours is a huge key element to photography.
