Location
This photo was taken in the Nevada Desert. It was an old mining camp in the early 1900's called Seven Troughs.Time
I had been anticipating this little venture for over a week since my boyfriend said we were going. I was hoping to be there by sunrise so even if there were no remains of the town there would definitely be plenty of lovely covered sagebrush mountains and most likely a beautifully colored sky as Nevada seems to have an abundancy of amazing sunrises and sunsets! After getting sidetracked by several other interesting ruins and monuments along the way we arrived here at the perfect time to eat a little lunch before we went exploring. So, this photo was taken right around noon!Lighting
I did nothing special for the lighting. I actually used my IPad Mini on the auto setting and just snapped a couple of shots and hoped that one might turn out cool but wanted to go explore around more than anything. ? .Equipment
I used my Apple IPad Mini to take this photo. The automatic setting took the photo at Aperture f/2.4, ISO 25, Shutter 1/1287, and Focal Length 33/10Inspiration
I just really like old rusty things! They just always look so cool. And old mining camps always fascinate me as well.Editing
Besides hitting the fix lighting button in edits nothing was done.In my camera bag
Well, this was taken even before i got a descent camera so all I had was my ipad inside of a case! I am still very much a beginner and still have not even purchased any accessories for my Nikon Coolpix P900 camera that I use nowFeedback
Whether you are fortunate enough to travel a lot or not, wherever you are get out and explore the wonderful place you are in! If you look, surely you can find something that is picture worthy!!!
