Location

This photo was taken in my rental in Grand Rapids.

Time

I took this photo mid-day in Michigan. The sun was shining, a lot of natural light coming through the window.

Lighting

The Weave was the start of a project. I had spent hours working on the weave, getting the spacing just right and then I just stared at it and realized it was perfect.

Equipment

I used my Samsung Galaxy 8+, the colors and photos always look amazing.

Inspiration

I loved how the weave looked, uniform. This shade of purple is beautiful and I love that the natural lighting kept the color true in the photo.

Editing

No post-processing.

In my camera bag

I always have my Galaxy 8+ with me, as well as my Canon SX170IS and Aomais Macro lens to use with my Galaxy.

Feedback

I tried various angles to get this shot. I wanted the color to look as it does in reality. I would say to others, keep trying until you are happy with what you see. And also remember that sometimes imperfect photos are great too.
