Location
This photo of downtown Orlando was taken after spending the afternoon at Lake Eola Park. It was the perfect day for taking photographs.Time
This image was taken about one hour after sunset. There was very little to no wind so it made for good reflections on the water.Lighting
I set the camera at ISO 400 due to the low natural lighting. There was no flash or other exterior lighting used.Equipment
This image was shot using a Canon EOS digital Rebel XSi on a tripod with the following settings: f/5.0, 18mm lens, ISO 400, 3 sec. exposure.Inspiration
I love the look of downtown Orlando, and after a long day of photography, I couldn't help but take this photo at the end of the session.Editing
I did very minimal post processing other than a hue adjustment. In my camera bag
My bag is rather small but I normally carry my Canon XSi, and the following lenses: EFS 18-55mm, EFS 55-250mm l, and my new EF 50mm f/1.8. I also carry a Tamron 70-200mm lens as well.Feedback
Take your time. Wait until there is little to no breeze before taking the photo. I am far from a professional, but I really like the way this image turned out.
