Location
This image of the flamingos in this pose was captured at Ameenpur Lake in Hyderabad, where flamingos frequent it during the misgration season. This image was captured in August'2018, on a morning, and I wanted till this pair isolated themselves and came together and was lucky to have captured the moment.Time
This was taken around 7 am in the morning.Lighting
The light wasnt too harsh andwas just right for the capture.Equipment
I shot this image with my Canon 7D Mark II and a Sigma 150-600 mm lens, mounted on a tripod and gimbal head.Inspiration
I was keen to get an intimate moment captured having seen a few on social media.Editing
I sharpened the image, cropped it, and used did some colour correction. In my camera bag
I travel with 2 camera bodies and a few lenses, which help me capture the landscape as well as help me use my telephoto zoom for captures.Feedback
Having patience is key! It may take you several attempts to get the right moment, but the most important thing is to be out there as much as you can to capture the image you have perceived in your mind.
