Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot in Maloja in Switzerland

Time

At dusk

Lighting

The timing was crucial for this photo, as I needed enough light from the blue hour to have the mountains lit up, but it had to be dark enough for the lighttrails to be visible

Equipment

I used a Canon 6D with a 16-35mm II lens, as well as a tripod and remote control

Inspiration

I had seen this photo by other talented photographers and was inspired to give my take on this amazing location!

Editing

I had to reduce the highlights behind the mountains a bit and increase the shadows to make it well balanced

In my camera bag

In addition to my Camera, I have the Canon 16-35mm lens, the Canon 50mm lens, my tripod, ND filters, a remote control, and a flashlight

Feedback

My advice is timing, exposing long enough to have the lighttrails the whole way, and using a tripod and remote control in order to get a sharp result.
