Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home, on balcony. Large raindrops piled on the balcony of the neighbors from above and poured by stream past my windows.

Time

It was an ordinary cloudy day.

Lighting

It is very nice to shoot on a cloudy day. Natural scattered light is obtained.

Equipment

This was shot on a Canon 600D, with the soviet lens "Helios 44-2" f/2 lens.

Inspiration

Actually, I don’t know, I just thought it was a great idea to put my girlfriend’s hand in the raindrops and take it on camera :)

Editing

I just had correct a white balance and add some clarity. This lens have an awesome bokeh:)

In my camera bag

Usually I shoot action sports, cars and travels, so I have an 18-55 lens, a 70-300 lens, also Helios 44-2 with me, I usually also bring a tripod and a polarizing filter for car shooting.

Feedback

Use a short shutter speed and don't be afraid to experiment. Good luck to all;)
