Behind The Lens

Location

I am a freelance photojournalist and I cover hundreds of events in the city of Pittsburgh. This was taken at one of those events that had food. I photograph food at almost every event I don't know what event this was taken at due to the fact it was taken in 2010.

Time

This was taken at night but inside at an event I was covering in 2010. Sadly I can not remember what event it was.

Lighting

I used a flash because of the dark lighting in the room and I wanted the desserts go pop out do to speak.

Equipment

This was taken with a Canon PowerShot S5 IS with the lens fully open to 4.3mm isp at 200 and shutter at 1/60 and a Fstop 2.7 with a Canon 270ex external flash.

Inspiration

I have seen do many food photos on here n I seen these I figure right color, they look nice or were well made and they tasted so good.

Editing

The only editing to this photograph was water marks all over it that blend in to the photo itself and one in bottom right hand side of the photo. I didn't change anything else to this photo.

In my camera bag

I always have a Canon PowerShot S series in my camera bag. I have a portable charger, a voice recorder, 2 extra batteries for my Canon dlsr, a wire to charge phone headset or tablet, I also have a 19-55mm and a 55-250mm lens in my bag, a bus pass and an extra memory card is what I have in my camera bag right now.

Feedback

Don't feel weird when ur somewhere and you want to shoot an object just shoot it. Always make sure you get your shot your happy with and don't limit yourself with not shooting with a flash or only shooting with a flash change it up you may like either photo n KEEP SHOOTING!!!!
