This is the choir loft at Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The spiral staircase on the left is considered miraculous and pious Roman Catholics believe St. Joseph himself visited to build the staircase for free. Loretto Chapel is the first true Gothic architecture west of the Mississippi.
