Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot in the desert in Namibia.

Time

Shot taken at 5.28 pm on 1st September 2016.

Lighting

Great light but the air is dusty which is normal in Namibia.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 18-200 mm F3.5-5.6 lens.

Inspiration

A love of sunsets and sunrises.

Editing

Basic processing,contrast,light and shade,saturation and sharpening were applied.The shot was not cropped.

In my camera bag

I normally have a Nikon D750 and D7100 bodies.A Nikon F5.6 200-500mm lens,Nikon F4 300 mm lens and a Nikon 18-200 mm lens. Manfrotto Monopod,Aquatec Rain cape.

Get up early for the best light and be ready to get your shot ,a few seconds can make the difference between an amazing shot and an also ran picture.Wildlife photography requires patience and time.
