During the day these Burrowing owls are usually not very active, but add a heavy down poor and they really get active. To get the rain to blur I used a shutter speed of 1-125. On top of the slow shutter, I was also hand holding so I could be more mobile. This resulted in me deleting 95% of the photos because of motion blur, but it only takes a couple like this to make me happy! This is a wild bird not captive. Photo was taken in Cape Coral Florida.
