Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at The Clift Hotel located in San Francisco, CA

Time

I believe this shot was taken at around 8PM, definitely was some time after we checked in.

Lighting

Lighting was fair, the lights followed the entirety if the stairwell so this was the only light i could work with.

Equipment

I was using my Canon T5 with 12MM Rokinon lens, no flash.

Inspiration

The view of looking down was just mesmerizing, definitely hidden little gem of architecture in this building.

Editing

I just applied a simple orange/teal preset that i have been playing with for a couple months. Bumped up the exposure a tad.

In my camera bag

In most cases, i use my Canon T5 with a 50M 1.4, though being an APS-C i believe the crop factor makes the lens more of an 85MM

Feedback

if you can be brave and hover your camera over the center of the stairwell, this would probably come out a lot more nicer and centered. lol
