Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo during a workshop in Lyon (A contrejour - Collective group of 5 photographers : Thanh Tung N’Guyen, Olivier Ramonteu, Elise Julliard, Lotfi Dakhli and Julie Cherki). This workshop was a great experience with marvelous photographer. Special thanks to Julie Cherki (it was during her set) and Ondine (the model).

Time

IT was beginnig of afternoon on a cold day (snow was on the path to go to the spot)

Lighting

The place was amazing and the light perfect.

Equipment

I used a 6D canon, with a 50 mm 1.2 and nothing else.

Inspiration

Julie Cherki did a great selection of the clothes and accessories, and the spot was perfect to higlight this.

Editing

I usually post process only on Lightroom, which is far enough for me.

In my camera bag

I was used to take a lot of gear in my bag, but things are changing, I take less and less gear now. Only a full frame camera (A7III now) and 50 mm and 135 mm.

Feedback

Take time to prepare the shoot, wait the good moment for the light, play with the model and shoot.
