Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at a friend's guest house. It was part of a photo shoot to feature the guest house.

Time

The photo was taken early morning with natural light hitting it just right.

Lighting

The photo was taken with completely natural light. There's big windows with white curtains creating a natural light box with just the right amount of sunlight let in to light the subject.

Equipment

I've used a macro lens to capture a deeper than usual depth of field to really seperate the background from the foreground. The bokeh was a resit if a few dust particles floating around.

Inspiration

The photo was part of a photo shoot for the guesthouse, although the moment was serendipitous. The light was just perfect for the moment.

Editing

No post processing. The image was completely captured in frame with a perfect result.

In my camera bag

I usually have a zoom lens and macro lens in my kit. Besides that I carry very few other lenses.

Feedback

Try keep an eye on natural light and observe how it influences the environment. You may just find the perfect conditions unexpectedly. Sometimes a random object with light hitting it can become something extraordinary.
